Koto virtuoso Michiyo Yagi and acclaimed composer-musician Dai Fujikura first met two decades ago and subsequently strengthened their friendship via the annual Born Creative Festival, curated by Fujikura. These two internationally acclaimed Japanese iconoclasts, whose unique activities transcend genre conventions, began a new collaboration in October 2020 which resulted in their 2023 album "Bibi".
